Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars returned for the final episode on BBC One tonight.

The gourmet chef challenged his budding entrepreneurs to hand-harvest oysters before later entrusting them with his own restaurant, the Savoy Grill. But tensions rose after missing beans ruined everything.

The team had to prepare full English breakfasts for customers, including eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes and beans. But a simple mistake, less than 20 minutes after the start of service, threw the kitchen into chaos.

A contestant, Jamie, explained that he forgot to add beans to a plate. He apologized profusely saying he would send them separately.

But Gordon was not happy when he burst into the kitchen. Angrily he said, “Jamie, why aren’t there any beans on this plate?” Without stopping what he was doing, frantically checking several pans, the contestant replied, “I just forgot to put them on.” Gordon asked, “How do you forget beans on a plate?”

Fans on Twitter thought it was hilarious. Lisa said, “@GordonRamsay Never forget the beans!! Sacrilege.. #ffs”. Brad said: “Forget the beans with one order, now they have 12 #FFS #futurefoodstars orders.” Meanwhile, Jake said, “Forget beans on full English?! #FutureFoodStars.”

The dining room was nearly full, and Gordon expected a steady stream of food from the kitchen. However, hardly any food was ready as the kitchen was way behind schedule. Gordon began to lose his temper when he realized the orders weren’t being taken.

Soon the orders started piling up and the kitchen struggled to handle the pressure. Valentina was shouting orders left and right and freaking everyone out.

The episode continued with incorrect orders, eggs cooked the wrong way, and even more yelling and screaming. Gordon appeared to be at his wit’s end with his team as he apologized to guests for the “diabolical” service and offered them their food for free.

Future Food Stars by Gordon Ramsay airs on BBC One on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
