Williams-Brazier Post 37 will serve baked bean dinners on July 16

THOMASTON – Post 37 will re-open to continue its on-site or take-out cooked bean suppers, and other meals, for 2022. They will serve a cooked bean supper on Saturday, July 16 at the American Legion, with one hour of service from 5 p.m.

All current Post 37 procedures, as well as all coronavirus state guidelines, will be followed. Meals may not be ready for service until 5 p.m. However, meals can be ordered in advance and picked up after 5:00 p.m. in the order they are ordered.

Meals ordered in advance will be given priority when ready. Pre-orders can also be placed by calling Post 37 Vice Commander William Demmons at (207) 314-3400 or emailing [email protected] to reserve a meal.

Each takeout meal will be packed in boxes and placed in a bag for takeout. Customers can drive/walk to the front of the Legion Hall, order meal(s) and pay. A Legion member will pick up the order and return it to the customer. The meal will be like the usual baked bean supper, except for dessert, which will be some kind of cake/brownie.
